The Edwardian building was respectfully restored and extended with a simple ‘box on the back’. The original front section of the home opens out to a spacious central kitchen, lounge and dining where large aluminium windows and doors give pool and yard views. Solar extremes are managed by long cantilevered eaves to the north and west. Externally the combination of materials work well, including Ecoply, conventional timber and aluminium cladding. The project was constructed with reduced side access and fully landscaped with a stage built pool.
